Do you really buy ready prepared vegetables?
You know those bags of shredded lettuce or those peeled and diced vegetables for stews ... Come on - have people lost the art of washing lettuce and preparing vegetables for stews? We need a campaign to get the public to leave these on the shelves even if they do have to learn to use up vegetables in different ways or only buy just what they need for what they are going to cook (if that's 1 onion, 2 carrots, 1 parsnip so be it), peel th…

Leaving packaging in the shop
How often can we buy loose packaged fruit and veg? Are you happy to have a bag and get your produce weighed free at the checkout. It is depressing to see how many items on special offer in fruit and veg departments at the supermarket all come bagged up so that the cashier just has to scan the item. Time to revolt and shop elsewhere if we have to go down this route or grow our own.
