The Nag

What's it all about?

This is the new version of the Nag. We wanted to create a platform that was fun first and enabled the crowd to solve crucial environmental and social problems. From angry rants and inspirational ideas, through to clusters of suggestions and real actions, the Nag is designed to let people be people, combine forces and collaboratively change things for the better.

What’s going on?

The Nag process has three parts:

  • Get it off your chest

Everybody gets frustrated at why things aren’t being done properly or they come up with fantastic ideas or they wish that things could be different.

Here’s the part of the nag where you can get it all off your chest.

  • Suggest Solutions

Once your thoughts are out, its time to find ways to turn them into action. The best way to do this is to get lots of helpful suggestions on

how to make them real. You can add suggestions to other people’s thoughts and other people will add suggestions to yours.

  • Do Something

Nothing gets done unless people do something about it. Thoughts are all well and good and suggestions are fantastic but ultimately we all need to get off

our backsides and do something. This is where the nag process turns thoughts into actions and where you can adopt those actions and do something to change your world.

Meet the team

  • Rouskalicious

    Project Director

Rouska is a ranter, and a casual problem solver. She likes to do things if she can do them online. She loves all things digital and is happiest building websites that do good.

  • Cyndi

Founder/ Creative Director at Anti-Apathy, home of The Nag

Cyndi is a serial problem solver (sometimes ‘maker’) hoping to reduce the need for ranting worldwide through a number of on and offline initiatives such as, The Nag.

  • Jamie

    Strategic Director of Anti-Apathy

Jamie has a big mouth that often gets him into trouble. He carries around a soapbox and given any opportunity will spout forth his invaluable opinion,(whether or not it’s listened too). He also loves the power of ideas especially when nobody takes credit and they produce amazing results from collaborative brilliance

  • charlied

    Concept Development

Charlie likes finding ways to make social campaigns entertaining. In fact, it was Charlie’s hatred of pessimistic environmental activism that led him to work with The Nag in the first place. If you have a gloomy ecological initiative that you’d like to make funnier, get in touch.

  • RickB

    Creative, designer

Rick’s convinced we can do things better. loves innovation, new ways of working and thinking. It doesn’t have to be depressing, it can all be cradle to cradle!

  • MrChrisAdams

    Web Monkey

Chris built the code for the parts of the Nag that you see here. He’s into using good design and clever uses of the web to solve social and environmental problems. Preferably without preaching at people, or waving his hands around too much.

  • AdotEllison

    Graphic Designer

Adam is interested in the power of visual communication to encourage interaction within society, all with the aim of creating positive social change. He enjoys asking questions and is partial to a bit of problem solving.
